  • (fade in: to the exterior of Clyde's jungle hut and then fade into the inside where Clyde is watching television looking quite bored)
  • Vance: Welcome to Vance's Unsolved Mysteries. I'm your host, Vance Cosgrove. Tonight, I am going to ask the age old question, do aliens exist? (Clyde switches the channel)
  • Clyde: I hate Vance Cosgrove, he never says anything true, he's too suspicious. (the channel shows about wildebeest) Ah, now here's a good show.
  • Announcer: Wildebeest are famous for looking somewhat like cows and they sometimes are called the Gnu, they were also famous for a stampede caused in a certain Disney movie that I know of.
  • Clyde: Well, at least nature documentaries are honest. (phone rings) Hello? Oh, hi, Katie. You want me to come over? Oh sure, I have nothing better to do anyway. There's nothing on but Vance Cosgrove and nature documentaries. I'll see you in a few minutes. (hangs up) Well, I better see what she's been up to. Katie always comes up with the best ideas. (as he says this, he grabs onto his vine and swings off with a Tarzan yell)
  • (Meanwhile, Tommy and Robotboy are playing cards)
  • Tommy: You got any threes?
  • Robotboy: Go fish. (They hear Clyde's Tarzan yell)
  • Tommy: It's Clyde! What's he doing here? Hey, Clyde, what's up?
  • Clyde: I have to go see what Katie's up to. She says she just learned a new jump.
  • Tommy: A new jump, huh? Well, let me know how it turns out. What a guy, Ro.
  • (Katie is outside in her backyard waiting for Clyde and Clyde lands in the yard)
  • Clyde: Hello, Katie Jones!
  • Katie: Hi, my favorite jungle boy. How are you doing?
  • Clyde: I'm doing fine, how about yourself.
  • Katie: I'm great,,and you're just in time, you know why?
  • Clyde: No, why?
  • Katie: To see my new fantastic amazing spectacular underwear jump! I learned that from my gym teacher, Janet.
  • Clyde: Sounds exciting.
  • Katie: It is. (rips off her clothes leaving on her underwear and bra) I need a running start. (runs off)
  • Clyde: Okay.
  • Katie: And here I go! (runs and jumps over the swingset)
  • Clyde: Whoa!
  • Katie: (laughs) What do you think, Clyde?
  • Clyde: Well, Kate, it was fantastic, amazing, and -
  • Katie: Spectacular?
  • Clyde: Yes. You're strong as I am.
  • Katie: Thanks, Clyde. I'm gonna do it again, only this time, I'm gonna jump even higher!
  • Clyde: Okay.
  • Katie: I love doing things with Clyde! Time for another running start! (runs off)
  • (as Katie runs off, Kurt and Stu walk by)
  • Kurt: And so, the principal says to me that I should have my father stop being the Special Agent.
  • Stu: No?
  • Kurt: Yeah, what's that all about? (to Clyde) Excuse me, jungle boy, which way to the playground, please?
  • Clyde: Straight ahead, you can't miss it.
  • Stu: Oh thank you.
  • Kurt: Race you to the Merry-Go-Round. (as Kurt and Stu run off, they drop their banana peels onto the ground)
  • Clyde: Did you see that? Kurt and one of his comrades threw their banana peels right on the sidewalk! Hey, please come back here! There's NO littering in the Bay Area! Oh, I better go pick them up before somebody steps on them. Banana peels can be very slippery. (Clyde tries to get to the peels, but Katie's already ready)
  • Katie: (runs) And here I come!
  • Clyde: Wait! Watch out for those banana-(Katie jumps but steps her feet onto the banana peels and crashes) peels! (Clyde runs over and picks up Katie) Easy. Are you all right, Katie?
  • Katie: I don't know. OW! Ow, my arm hurts!
  • Clyde: Which one?
  • Katie: (points to her left arm) This one. Ow! It hurts a lot! (groans in pain)
  • Clyde: Well, you know what, we'd better go see the doctor.
  • Katie: The doctor?
  • Clyde: Yeah, the doctor's gonna check out your arm and see why it hurts so much and see what he can do to make it better.
  • Katie: Oh. okay.
  • Clyde: Come on, let's go.
  • Katie: Okay. OW!
  • Clyde: Easy, easy. Careful.
  • Katie: Ow, it hurts a lot, Clyde. (they walk off)
  • (moments later Clyde and Katie (now fully clothed) return and see Tommy)
  • Clyde: Hi, Tommy.
  • Tommy: Hey, you're back. How did it go at the doctor's?
  • Katie: Well, they did an x-ray on me.
  • Clyde: Yeah, an x-ray is when they take a picture of your bone to see if it's broken. I just learned that.
  • Tommy: Okay, and what did the X-rays show?
  • Katie: A bone in my left arm is broken!
  • Tommy: Oh no!
  • Katie: Yes, and the doctor put it in a cast, see?
  • Clyde: Yeah. And from what I've learned, that cast is gonna hold your hand still until your bone heels, right, Kate?
  • Katie: Yeah, but, the doctor said I can't do my new underwear leap until my arm heels.
  • Tommy: Oh, I'm so sorry, Kate. I know how much you love doing those things.
  • Clyde: But you know, there's plenty of things you can do, even with your arm in a cast.
  • Katie: (scoffs) I doubt it.
  • Tommy: Sure they are. (Janet Wolfgang enters the scene)
  • Clyde: (love mode) Oh, hi, Janet.
  • Janet: Hi, Clyde. Guess what? I'm having swimming class right now, do you, Katie, and Tommy want to come along?
  • Katie: I can't come because my arm is broken.
  • Janet: Well, I'm sorry, Katie. Well, what about you Clyde.
  • Clyde: Maybe some other time, Janet. I need to take Katie home to rest.
  • Janet: Okay, Clyde. Come on, Tommy.
  • Tommy: Coming, see you guys later.
  • Clyde: Have fun.
